Airframe and Powerplant
Day Classes
Earn Your FAA Certificate and Launch Your Aviation Career
Working on aircraft in the United States requires federal licensing. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issues the Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate, which is the gold standard for aviation maintenance technicians.
We've strictly aligned our training program with FAA Part 147 requirements to prepare you for the written, oral and practical exams you will face. You do not need prior aviation experience to succeed here. You only need a willingness to learn and a passion for aviation.
We've divided our full-time aircraft mechanic program into three core segments:
General (360 Hours): This portion covers the foundational math, physics and basic electricity concepts needed for all aircraft maintenance.
Airframe (720 Hours): The training focuses on the body of the aircraft, including composite structures, hydraulic systems and landing gear.
Powerplant (720 Hours): Engage in a deep study of turbine and reciprocating engines, propellers and fuel systems.
Fast-Track Your Training With Our Day Class Schedule
We understand that many of our students want to treat their education like a full-time job so they can enter the workforce as soon as possible. We've structured our class schedule for that purpose.
Schedule: The class runs Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Program length: Complete your aircraft mechanic training in 15 months.
Start dates: New classes begin every 14 weeks, so you never have to wait long to get started.
We also believe in transparent pricing. The total tuition for the program includes your books, tools and exam fees. For details on payment plans or federal aid options, you can speak with our Admissions and Financing team.
If you are balancing a current job with studies, we also offer flexible night class options that cover the same comprehensive curriculum.
